'Friends of Tsavo' is a Non-Profit-Organisation.
We issue no money for personnel and administration.
We do not want to be active in own projects in Kenya, but rather want to support the Kenya Wildlife services.
We are convinced that the Kenya Wildlife services has managed the parks for many years very successfully and
does not require stimulations from Europe.
We want to help on the spot and directly. We want to support the persons who daily take care for the protection of the animals and the parks: meaning the staff of the parks.
After consultation with the directors of the parks, our aid comprises donations (technical equipment), as well as binoculars, digital cameras, photo printers, indulgence devices and notebooks and also DVD-Player, DVDs and radios for the restrooms of the staff.
We want to take influence on the trip organizers to prefer offering long term safaris instead of one-day-trips.
One day in a large park as Tsavo-East N.P. and Tsavo-West N.P. is much too short for an adequate view around the animal world. One-day-trips don't bring enthusiasm and contentment to the tourists.
Only visitors who are satisfied will come again. Exactly that is our goal: to increase the number of persons who come for more than just one trip
